Worlds Cruises Cancellation Policy

This document explains the general cancellation policies and procedures for cruise bookings made through Worlds Cruises. As an agent for leading cruise lines and travel suppliers (“Suppliers”), all cancellation terms, penalties, and refund eligibility are determined by the respective Supplier.

Your Worlds Cruises booking advisor will provide the detailed cancellation policy applicable to your specific cruise, fare type, and promotion at the time of booking and in your confirmation documents.

1. Initiating a Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be made by phone to Worlds Cruises at:

Please have your booking reference number and travel details ready.

For processing, we may also request written confirmation of your cancellation via email to cruisesworlds@gmail.com. A cancellation is only effective once acknowledged by Worlds Cruises and accepted by the Supplier.

2. Cancellation Penalties & Fees

Cancellation penalties vary depending on:

  • Cruise Line / Supplier policies

  • Time remaining before departure (penalties increase closer to sailing date)

  • Fare type and promotions (many promotional fares are non-refundable)

  • Cabin category and add-ons (suites, shore excursions, airfare, dining packages may carry stricter penalties)

Failure to complete scheduled payments may result in automatic cancellation with loss of deposit.

3. Non-Refundable Components

Deposits, special promotional fares, administrative fees, and negotiated rates may be marked as non-refundable. These amounts will not be refunded regardless of when you cancel.

4. Changes to Bookings

Any modification (change of date, ship, itinerary, cabin, or guest name) may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking. Supplier penalties and change fees may apply.

5. No-Show Policy

Failure to appear for embarkation is considered a cancellation on the departure date and normally results in forfeiture of the entire cruise fare with no refund.

6. Supplier Authority

All decisions regarding penalties, refunds, or Future Cruise Credits are determined solely by the Supplier. Worlds Cruises acts only as a booking facilitator.

7. Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against financial losses due to illness, emergencies, or other covered reasons.
